FORGIVEN

“FORGIVENESS IS NOT SOMETHING GOD DOES; IT’S SOMETHING HE’S DONE.”

2000 years ago, God already died on the cross for our sins, He carried the pain for us to enjoy our life. And some of us have the tendency to think that we can clean ourselves thru our works, that we can be forgiven by God because we do good things. But it is ridiculous to think you can pay God with your good works for you to be forgiven, because that would never matter to him. God won’t forgive you because He has already forgiven you.

If you don’t believe the sons of the world were dealt with at the cross, then you’re going to have trouble experiencing His forgiveness. It is already done, you just have to claim that you’re forgiven. And If you’re still battling with guilt, proclaim your forgiveness over yourself! You might think of “What about the sins I did this morning?” God don’t record those sins, it’s not in His nature. God is love and He keeps no record of wrong. You need to treat God’s forgiveness the same way you treat His love as a gift received by faith from start to finish. Forgiveness is based on His work not ours.

“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” -Mark 11:23

THINGS I’M BELIEVING FOR…

☐  To buy gifts for Mom’s Day

☐ To have many friends in Ignite

☐  To have a picture with a celebrity

☐ To buy S4

☐  To buy watch

☐ To inspire others

☐ To go to Forever21 alone.

☐ To make my room extra special and beautiful

Whatever you ask for, if you have faith in Him, He will definitely give it to you. Go and pray the things you want to have, or happen, believe by faith that God will grant that. I know my prayers will come true because I know that God loves giving gifts to His children.

THIS…

IT’S NOT ABOUT YOUR FINANCES, IT’S NOT ABOUT YOUR PARENT’S JOB, IT’S ABOUT GOD AND OUR FAITH IN HIM. DON’T PUT GOD IN A BOX WHEN YOU PRAY FOR SOMETHING BUT DARE TO PRAY FOR THE NEARLY-IMPOSSIBLE THINGS AND HAVE FAITH, AND BE AMAZED ON HOW GOD’S GONNA WORK ON YOUR PRAYERS.

Page 119 of 365: LOVED BY GOD

Sometimes it’s hard to accept that God loves you, I don’t know if you’re feeling the same way but I felt that before, whenever I sin or do something that is wrong I feel that God is mad at me or even hates me but then I started to read this book, “The Gospel in Ten Words” and God has revealed His unfailing love not just for me, but for you also, the one who’s reading this.  I want to share one of my favourite paragraph on that book:

“ God loves you  with the white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. Just look at the night sky. He put those stars there to impress you with astronomical extravagance of his love. God loved you into existence ad he loved you when you were a sinner. His heart’s desire is for you to know and enjoy his love for eternity.”

See?  He so loved us! Even if we were still sinner, remember that He gave His only son to die on that cross for us. He died so we can live, that’s how much he loves us! The previous paragraph reveals that God loves you even if you’re a sinner. Paul Ellis (the writer of The Gospel In Ten Words) said that His love is measureless and so incomprehensibly vast our minds cannot grasp  it. We can’t comprehend it because human love is unlike divine love. Be confident to tell yourself that God loves you so much and He want to have a relationship with you, He wants to be your father.

God’s love is greater that our sin and nothing can ever separate us from the love of God unless you refuse it.  There’s also nothing you can do to earn it, you just have to receive it by faith.

“Carnal religion would have you believe that God is standing with crossed arms, but grace declares his arms are always open. Religion says God is angry and maybe hates you, but grace proclaims he is always in a good mood and his favour rests upon you. Religion says you need to get yourself sorted out and cleaned up before you can come home, but grace shout “Come on, just as you are!”The Gospel in Ten Words.

TODAY RECEIVE HIS LOVE BY FAITH AND CLAIM THAT HE LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.

Roadtrip in Laguna and the Cold water of Majayjay

Yesterday was really fun and exciting experience for all of us, my family and my Dad’s friend. First we have decided to go to Cavinti underground river but its fully booked so we have decided to go to Majayjay, Laguna because my Dad’s friend knew that the place was beautiful and when we arrived, wow it’s a super different view, its very exciting, there’s no pool! (Yes it has but it’s a man made pool) It was a river in there, SUPER CLEAN AND COLD, full of stones, it has bridges, falls and everything we need for us to enjoy it! It was paradise for me, we go to some resorts and we see typical pools and views but this one is different. Here are some pictures….

Lately I’ve been focusing on how would I look, what would I wear, how will they react on what I’m wearing… and my world was full of earthly, girly desires that is TOO MUCH.

Then God spoke to me and said “you are fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Ps 139:14

OUTWARD BEAUTY  < BEAUTY OF THE HEART

I became so obsessed on how would I look that I forgot that the inner beauty is much more important.  It became my idol, but with God’s revelation I understand that it has to be trying to cultivate inner beauty—- becoming more loving, gracious and kind. I can never please everyone with what I wear or how I look, because the world’s standard of outward beauty is unattainable. God’s standard of beauty can be achieved by time spent alone with Him, and that inner beauty will make you feel confident with what God has given you on the outside.

God didn’t want just a quick fix time of prayer… He wanted extended periods of friendship and focused conversation with YOU. (Source:  Lies Young Women Believe)

When you want something close to impossible…

I really want an iTouch 5thGen, I don’t know why but I really like it, no love it. It’s the first time I got obsessed with a gadget and I really prayed for that but when I asked my parents about it, the money they would give me is not enough, its less than 10K and that iTouch is more than 15K. So I felt bad and I gave up, I decided to buy the iTouch 4thGen instead but God’s message today is really… faith-goal changing!

God is BIG enough, and sometimes we box Him as if He is powerless to make your prayers possible but I was wrong to think that way. The truth is, God is able to surprise you, give you everything you want more than your expectations. In my case I gave up on that “want” because of my family’s capability. But its not that way because its not about my parents salary or whatever but it is about God. More than willing to give you everything because you are His princess, you are His children and whatever you want, whatever it is that you are praying for (even if its close to impossible) hold on to that. BELIEVE BY FAITH, have the confidence to claim it because God will make ways to give us that “prayer”. So get yourself ready for God’s surprises, He will give you what you want…. one of these days!

I feel so lazy this week, my gosh I don’t want this feeling. And now here comes the 3rd final exam and I haven’t start studying, recitation and quizzes are about to come but but but I’m here at the front of the computer tweeting. Ahhhh! I pray for willingness, my head aches so much right now. And I’m WILLING TO START NOW! Hope I would be able to finish before tomorrow. xx

I don’t really know what you’re up to but I trust you. By the way hopia is not bad. ONE DAY…
Prayer and Fasting 2013

My church just had our Prayer and Fasting this week, this is done annually and this is my second time to join. This is the time of year when we corporately consecrate ourselves, our families, and ministries to God.  And I really enjoyed this season, though its 5 days.  I also had my media fasting, I didn’t tweet, blog, or post. And I felt no sadness, I had more time with my Mom and my bible, with God. And I wrote the things I believing for this year and I’m so excited for those! Knowing that God would answer my prayers, I’ll wait for breakthroughs this year! By the way, I attended this prayer meeting and while praying the pastor called me in front to lead the prayer ( I was embarrassed) but still I know that there’s more room for improvement. Hahaha had a great week!
